St John’s (CE) Primary Academy is a warm and welcoming single school academy with a strong Christian ethos at its heart. We are dedicated to ensuring that all children and staff reach their full potential and flourish in a caring and ambitious environment.
The governors are seeking to appoint the following members of staff:
Fun Club Co-ordinator
Permanent Contract
Scale NJC 4, SCP 7-11, £13.69 per hour to £14.59 per hour
22.5 hours per week, term time only
(Core hours are 7.30am – 9.00am and 3.00pm – 6.00pm each day)
Required from 13th April 2026
Applications are invited from motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individuals to co-ordinate and manage a team of before and after-school child care playworkers. The Co-ordinator will be responsible for planning creative play opportunities and carrying out day-to-day administration.
NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent is required (preferably in Child Care).
A sound knowledge of the developmental needs of children and good interpersonal skills with adults and children are essential. Computer literacy and a keen attention to detail, safety and security is a must.
There is a possibility that this post could be a Job share.
